Water Ripple

With an undergraduate degree in Music Therapy, I specialized in assisting children who learn differently reach their academic goals and in assisting adults with developmental disabilities successfully transition into independent, community living. While working with these clients, I gained an understanding of the challenges that they and their families faced in their daily lives. From there, I went on to work with families within a church setting as a Preschool and Children’s Minister and then with at-risk families as a foster parent. My great passion in life is helping families function in a way that is healthy, loving, and supportive.

I am currently an Associate Licensed Counselor under the supervision of Del McElroy, LPC.   My desire is to collaborate with my clients to identify practical and realistic strategies for change that will aid them in achieving their personal and relational goals. I approach counseling with a cognitive behavioral mindset that acknowledges the impact of neurobiological development and the influence of the systems of which we are a part.

In our leisure time, my family likes to make music, play board games, watch Marvel movies, and cruise the Caribbean.
